Apple & Samsung Product Announcements
Samsung has product announcements coming up at their “Samsung Unpacked 2014 – Episode 2” event in New York, Berlin AND Bejing, all at the same time. This second episode is likely to show off the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Meanwhile, Apple’s media event is the subject of much rumor and speculation; when is it not? One thing we’re sure of – it will NOT feature the iToilet, we swear. What WILL be there is the release of iOS 8. And while we can’t confirm it, we are pretty confident that the iPhone 6 will show up too.
Product announcements aren’t the only thing Apple’s up to these days. It’s back to school time, and they have some discounts to promote. Eligible customers can claim a $100 gift card with purchase of a new Mac, or a $50 card with an iPhone or iPad.
